Stressing that Egypt is one of Vietnam’s active partners in Africa and bilateral defense cooperation still has great potential for development, Chien proposed the two sides to step up delegation exchanges, establish a mechanism for sharing information on the political security and socio-economic situation as well as customs and practices of United Nations peacekeeping missions in Africa, and discuss the possibility of collaboration to deal with the consequences post-war bombs and mines.
Ambassador Amal Salama stressed the importance of defense cooperation in the relations between the two countries, saying that her country wishes to strengthen collaboration with Vietnam in this field.
She also suggested that the two countries should speed up the establishment of a joint committee on defense cooperation, share experience in cybersecurity, and collaborate in defense industry and Vietnamese and Arabic language training for military personnel. military officers of both countries.

He appreciated Colonel Hara’s contributions to bilateral relations during his tenure in Vietnam, while expressing his hope that Colonel Ishihara will help promote the results achieved during the implementation of defense cooperation content and have new initiatives to further strengthen ties.
Japanese officers showed their hope that Vietnam will hold several events that have been delayed due to the pandemic, including the International Maritime Review and the International Defense Expo.
